While You Were Sleeping (1995) was shown on Studio 23 this afternoon and I watched it with Daddy. God, the story had a lot of twists! Not just the normal kind of twists but really crazy ones, okay?
So Lucy (Sandra Bullock) works in the train terminal – she sells tickets. She has this crush on Peter Callaghan (Peter Gallagher), whom she sees every day in the station. And then one day, Peter gets mobbed and pushed over the tracks and Lucy gets to rescue him right before he gets hit by the train. Peter then gets rushed to the hospital then goes on a coma. She wanted to see Peter and check how he’s doing but the hospital staff won’t let her. So this nurse helps her get in by saying that Lucy is Peter’s fiancée. Lucy cannot get the courage to tell them the truth and his family takes her in as a member of their family. While with this family Lucy falls in love with Peter's brother, Jack (Bill Pullman). Lucy does not know what to do when Peter comes out of a coma and doesn't remember her. Crazy right? But it was a really nice feel good movie! Sandra Bullock was super young pa and she was really amazing in this movie – just like in The Proposal.

ANYWAY. I am really excited for Christmas!!! Seeing all those Christmas decorations in the Callaghan house, the gift-giving and family dinners made me want to start putting up and decorating our 7-ft. Christmas tree. As for the gifts, I already started writing my gift list yesterday. I’ll definitely need lots of moolah to buy everything so I really have to start saving up now. Around two weeks ago, I was chatting with my friend, Lissan who’s in studying in Australia. We were talking about how much we miss each other and the whole barkada. She said she’s going home for Christmas, and so are Leki, Belley, Guio, and Gippo. Since everyone’s going to be back here in the Philippines in December, we thought about having a semi-formal Christmas dinner – girls in dresses and the boys will be in polos. Aw <3 We dunno where yet though. But most probably, we’ll have it in Chiara’s house in Green Meadows or Don’s house in Alabang. Excited!
