Of car accidents and fail police officers

Yesterday was pretty eventful - I've been in a car accident within the university, and actually went inside the police precinct (It was my first time!).

It wasn't really an intense car accident. Sorry, I'm not a pro in car language but I'll try my best to describe what really happened. So Math class was done and we were going to Melchor Hall na to work on our ES 1 project. Inno was driving, and then when we took a left at the Science oval headed to Velasquez St., a black Honda Jazz hit us.

Before the collision, Inno noticed that the Jazz was running at a high speed and estimated that it will hit us, so he hit the brakes real hard to prevent the collision - hoping that the Jazz would stop as well. BUT THE JAZZ DIDN'T. The driver didn't seem to step on the brakes and actually thought the she could pass through without hitting our car. Or maybe, like what they all say, once you're in an actual accident, you just can't think straight and you get all panicky. Maybe that's what happened to the Jazz driver.

We were all clueless about what's supposed to be done. Good thing I had the UPD Police number stored in my phone. I was about to call them when Inno and the girl agreed to just stay at the Math parking lot and wait for the police. I told them we shouldn't leave the scene so the police can determine whose fault it really was. But the girl said she'll take the blame because it really was her fault.

When we got to parking lot, we went to the guard station and used their landline to call the police. Then I took pictures of the damage on Inno's car.

Big scratches and shallow, wide dents.
Damaged from half of his rear door to the trunk :|

We were waiting for an hour and a half already, but still no police. Alex and I got to eat lunch na, still no police! GAH. The headquarters wasn't that far from Math building okay? Nakakainis sila, ang bagal umaksyon, batugan, parang walang pakialam. We got really pissed na because we were waiting too long, so we decided to just go to the station and get it all done with.

Doesn't look like a real police station, no?

Inno and Alex narrating what happened to the lady officer. I had no idea that the receiving desk was that high! One guy officer told me that it was made that way because usually, the drunk guys attack the officers manning the desk. :| Scary shit.

Inno had lots of friends with him - Me, Alex, Lance, and Tedmund. Dave was with us also when we were in the Math parking lot. The girl (in yellow, the Jazz driver) only had her classmate with her. Her boyfriend (I think?) came to assist her later on.

Inno looking stressed. Awwh. I think this was when the police officer told him he had to go back today to get the report. He wanted sana to have everything done na yesterday eh. Oh well.

And of course, wouldn't want to miss a photo op! This officer had to button up his polo pa before we took the shot. HAHA.
